Lego Movie 2. The 2nd part

Lego 2 reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city. It’s been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are now facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than it can be rebuilt.

The battle to defeat the invaders and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet, Lucy, Batman and their friends to faraway, unexplored worlds, including a strange galaxy where everything is a musical. It will test their courage, creativity and Master Building skills, and reveal just how special they really are.

Lego 2 is a fun family affair worthy of going to see in the theatres. Writers Lord and Miller (Lego 1, Spiderman into the Spiderverse) are back on form in this fast paced action sequel.

All the same gags are there but the stakes have changed as brother and sister must now learn to get along.

If there is one knock on Lego 2 for me is that it can get a little talky at times, when just showing the action would have been nicer for my taste.
